Lloyd Walters (Radyr) continues his fine run of form to take Spring Meeting

  Glamorgan Spring Meeting at Coed y Mwstwr
 
                           Wednesday 24th April 2019

A wet Spring meeting was accompanied by a very warm welcome from the Coed y Mwstwr Golf Club.
The course which is now 25 years old gave the boys a testing day out, with no complaints whatsoever on the Course, greens or the Match set up, just the weather, however they all played the course to the end

The results speak for themselves with very few lowscores, it was a great start to the season.
The Under 18 Division was won by Lloyd Walters with a gross 66 just 4 off the course record winning the Easter Trophy for 2019, Lewis John was runner up with a gross 74.
The Under 16 Division was won by Sam Peet with a gross 77 Dominic Dixon was runner up with a gross 78
The Under 14 Division was won by Brodi Lewis with a gross 78 Ryan Owain Williams was runner up with a gross 83.
The CSS for the day was plus 3 = 71

Our thanks are extended to Paul Melding, Roger Chaffey and Peter Austerberry who supported the day and Julie Savill who undertook the tournament preparation.
