Glamorgan Golf’s Elite Squad brings together the pinnacle of players from all across the County.
Our Objective is to improve their games individually and collectively bringing a winning mentality to Channel League & Wessex squads each year. Also developing players for International Golf.
Our Squad is selected by the Captain and the Player Performance Committee. During this time the players will be tested in their skills and provided coaching from our Coaches to improve both individual performance but also winners at County Level.
Our aim is to :
- Establish Glamorgan as county that is inclusive of all players, provide excellent coaching and a structure for players to develop individually.
- Have a winning and positive mentality and establish Glamorgan at the top of Channel League & Wessex Golf.
- Assist players in their ambitions to play for their country through Wales Golf and support their own coaching and development programmes.
- Assist our players in any way for those individuals who wish to represent Glamorgan and have the skills, desire & dedication to make our squads successful.
- Use statistical methods to drive improvement of our players.
- Allow players to enjoy their County Golf in a friendly environment and be proud to wear our Colours.
