On what was to be a stand alone event, the Cardiff Feathers was combined with the 2021 County Championships. A forecast of rain and wind did not quite dampen the proceedings and the golfers played on a beautifully presented course. Rhys Carhart and Dave Barrel both scoring an admirable 71 in the morning session set the bar for the afternoon round. A stunning 66 from Tom Williams was not good enough to secure him the lead after scoring a 74 in the morning. Rhys Carhart produced another 71 in the afternoon but unfortunately Dave Barrell produced a fantastic score of 69 to build on his morning score of 71. Dave Barrel is the Cardiff Feathers 2021 Champion.
