The Duncan Putter

The Duncan Putter is the opening event of the Calendar year but the second to accumulate points on the Order of Merit. Competitors come from our county, across Wales, the UK and from Europe. The Duncan Putter is played across the wonderful Southerndown Golf Club over 72 Holes.

Congratulations Tom Osborne of Lindrick Golf Club on his victory in this years Duncan Putter. Tom was two shots clear of Tom Savill of Glamorganshire GC who had lead the field at the halfway stage after shooting a stunning 65 -5 on the first day and followed this with a battling 74 in the second round. But it was to be Tom Osborne’s day on the Sunday with rounds of 68 -2 and 73 +3 in challenging easterly winds, that proved to be the winning total of 284 +4.
